Writing Tips from Stephen King

Stephen King is not only a best selling author but also a talented writer, which is why I was excited to read the following article:

 This is an excellent article giving expert advice on writing. Some of these tips I already knew and some were new to me, like not watching so much tv. Apparently it kills the creative process we writers rely on to do our work. I really shouldn't be surprised, though. I'd much rather read a book with no distractions so I can concentrate on said book. The same can be said about writing. Write without distractions (also #13 on the list). I've found that when I'm alone in a completely quiet room and have my phone turned off that I get much more and better quality writing done.
